I had an error message telling me that my pc was unable to read the floppy disk drive. I assumed the drive was at fault so bastardised another machine to replace the drive and wiring etc. Didnt seem to work at first but after a bit of repeat and trial and error I have got it to the point whereit detects the drive (both the old and the new one) but cant/wont read anything off it. I have this feeling I am almost there. Is there something I need to do in setting up to get it to work properly or is it something more sinister?
