I have Winfax Pro (V9.0) on my PC. Running off the same phone line as my PC is a fax machine (Brother 930). For various reasons, I need to be able to use both the fax and fax software. But when I try to send a fax from Winfax, it prints out on to my fax machine(rather than sending to the specified fax number) unless I physically disconnect the fax from the wall socket. What can I do to prevent this? (FYI I have an internal modem 3 com, 56K v90 PCI winmodem, win98/NT). Would a different type of modem help? (If yes, please specify) or won't that make any difference? |
