| 3795 | 2000-01-14 08:46:00 | Trying to install a SB16 card into a HP8512 PIII 450MZ. Control Panel/Systems recognises the card, saying all is ok with no conflicts. Under Multimedia/Midi the card is listed but I can not get a midi input, nor will Win 98 show 'Add a new Instrument'. Have a Yamaha DB50XG daughter board installed on SB16 so wish to still use it. Do I need to upgrade the SB16? Why will Win98 not let me add another instrument? Any help installing this thing or other ideas, please let me know? I've tried all the web sites I can think of and tried various and many ways of uninstalling and reinstalling to no avail. Thanks in advance. |
