| 3811 | 2000-01-17 02:55:00 | Hi I have a PIII 350, 128 RAM and heaps of hard drive. Running Win 98. However...at boot up time I get the scary blue screen with the even scarier message: 'Invalid VxD dynamic link call from APIX (01) + 00002E78 to device '33FC', service 3. Your Windows configuration is invalid. Run the Windows Setup program again to correct this problem. To continue running Windows press Y or Enter. To quit the current program press N. If you continue running Windows, your system may become unstable. Do you want to continue? Press Y for Yes N for No: Y' This occurred, I think, after installing a driver for a HP Deskjet 710C printer, grabbed from the HP site. Occaissionally I have to reboot to refresh my Desktop icons but as yet haven't noticed anything major. It's just scary. Can you help me? Thank you Woody |
