| 3838 | 2000-01-20 23:57:00 | I was given a 486DX 4/100 recently that had Linux (Caldera,I think) installed. As it was my intention to install Windows 95 on this machine,I Fdisk'd the hard drive (a Seagate ST3630A - 600mb), deleting the Non Dos and Dos partitions and then used the Format /S command. When booting from the C Drive, everything appears fine up to an including the System Config Window. The the following message appears..... LILO Loading Linux and the system then resets itself. This PC has the Award PCI/ISA Bios (2A4KDM29) HELP!!!!!! |
