| 3908 | 2000-02-02 09:35:00 | I am having trouble installing an ISA sound card into an Artec 486 computer. The computer has Windows 3.1 installed which I am totally unfamiliar with. I have tried to manually install the drivers for the sound card from the floppy disc but still can't get any sound and I am not sure whether the computer has even recognised the hardware. What do I do to install hardware. I am used to Win 95 and 98 where it does it all for you? Does anyone have any tips on how to manage this problem in Windows 3.1? Any thoughts would be appreciated. Thanks Darryl Lennane |
