| 1237466 | 2011-10-14 06:05:00 | On tonights TV One news, there was a young NZ family repatriating themselves from the US. Everything they had was in a container on board Rena. Uninsured, because they couldn't afford the $1000 or so to insure their belongings. As the wife said (referring to the risk they took), how often does a ship sink, anyway? To make matters worse, they had also lost their home in the US because of financial difficulties brought about in part through the financial downturn. So, so sad. |

| 1237468 | 2011-10-14 06:11:00 | Cant afford insurance does not make sense, cant afford not to does. 3 years ago my mechanic hooked up the oil lube lines on an air compressor on a Terex scraper incorrectly so the engine oil went from the engine to the air tanks filling the whole pneumatic system brakes etc with oil, the engine run out of oil and seized cost my insurance about a squillion dollars to fix it. |
