1237542 2011-10-18 21:40:00 Same here, i find that immensely useful. If you run win7 on dual screens, I highly recommend displayfusion for some more intense window management, it's great. :)

Single screen here, as it is my 22" and speakers are a tight fit on my desk :p

1237543 2011-10-18 21:55:00 I still have DOS 6.22 and windows 3.11 floating around on original floppies somewhere, although I think last I tried the disks had read errors.

Windows 3.11 was my first Windows operating system that was a full version and not an update. I seem to remember at a later date installing either XP or Vista and being asked to insert a disk with the full version of a previous Windows OS as proof that I did qualify for an update version. I had to search around to find my original Windows 3.11 floppies before Microsoft would allow me to install the new Windows OS.

Would have been XP, Vista didn't ask for a previous disc as XP's could be so heavily modified by the OEM that it could become unrecognisable. (Side note: Windows 7 checks elegibility based on whatever OS is installed on the PC before formatting) pcuser42 (130)
