| 1237584 | 2011-10-17 05:53:00 | It is totally safe from me! I'd probably watch Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs before I'd even get out of bed and think about downloading Avatar, let alone watching it. The whole quasi-reality animation scene turns me off, it is just one end-to-end special effect. :groan: But that's just my view. Other people may be easier to please, or have lower expectations, raking in $2.8 billion at the worldwide box office kinda proves that. Read that any which way you want! Cheers Billy 8-{) :illogical |

| 1237586 | 2011-10-17 07:31:00 | I read it as arrogant piffle. Oh, I don't know Metla. Knowing what I like, holding strong personal views on a range of topics and issues, occasionally being hard to please, and feeling free to express my opinions from time to time on PF1 are some traits we have in common, so if that makes me arrogant, then welcome, brother. I don't mind how you read it frankly, life is a balance and who is to say which view is right and which view is wrong? Not you, not I. Today's right is often tomorrow's wrong, and vice versa. Which way was the wind blowing? I did say I'd prefer to watch a cartoon though, and I've watched Snow White and others many times with my children. With any luck I'll start again with grandchildren one day; I'm converting the tapes to DVD in anticipation. Peace Billy |
