1261583 2012-02-26 06:23:00 After an SSD. Looking to spend around $100-$140. Speed is the priority but needs to be able to store w7 64bit, sc2 (10GB?) and bf3(15GB). icow (15313)
1261584 2012-02-26 07:59:00 At that price you won't get much, maybe a 30-40GB SSD.
Heres a couple of options
www.computerlounge.co.nz
www.pp.co.nz

To get a fast or Big SSD though you'll need to spend more, these are both ok and probably a nice boost compared to your average HDD but they are at the lower end of SSD technology.
www.computerlounge.co.nz would be a better OS drive in my opinion.

1261585 2012-02-26 08:09:00 OCZ Agility 120gb is rated te best ssd for price and performance. Slankydudl (16687)
1261586 2012-02-26 09:45:00 The Agility 3 series aren't the most reliable, because OCZ take different parts from different manufacturers (The cheapest of the fast parts) and mix them together. If they're going to fail (As two I've seen first-hand have now) then it'll happen straight away so it's not usually a major ... But they are most definitely best bang-for-buck. 475MB/sec write speads, you should get around 60GB for $140+GST? Chilling_Silence (9)
1261587 2012-02-27 03:19:00 Awesome. What's the deal with the intel ssd's. I heard something about certain ssd's using different methods of something? Anyone know what im on about? icow (15313)
1261588 2012-02-27 04:10:00 Nope I don't know. But intel tend to have a good reputation for reliability which is why I got one. The 320 series is ok but not as fast as a sandforce based SSD, the newer 520 series is nearly as fast as OCZ's offerings but costs a bit more.

Have a read of this www.tomshardware.com it might help you decide.
