TBH, I actually enjoyed it but I reckon watching it in pirated or even DVD 2D quality wouldn't be as good as the 3D.

1237573 2011-10-14 20:55:00 Its pretty damn stunning even on DVD, and its easily the most detailed and cinematic Blu-ray I have ever seen. Metla (12)

X1 Makes me laugh when they are attacking the Nado and that general guy is standing there in the attcking ship drinking a cup of coffee. I have the Extended Blu Ray collectors edition. You even get one frame of the 35mm film with it.

Avatar is the highest-grossing movie of all time, raking in $2.8 billion at the worldwide box office

This, despite the claim that it is
the most pirated film of all time

Sort of shoots the anti-pirate brigade out of the water really...

Colonel, not General.
His awesomeness made the film watchable for me.

interesting logic, the more you pirate something the more successful it will become.

1237578 2011-10-15 22:50:00 The more successful something is the more people are going to pirate it, that is just obvious.

Why would millions want to pirate something terrible? Of course they are more likely to pirate something popular!

Also, people who pirate something may perhaps think "That would look great in the cinema instead of a crappy camcorder copy" and then go and pay to see it. Maybe they just want to know if something is worth paying for, before they potentially waste money.

The lies that the MAFIAA spew about piracy making them lose money is nonsense - they profit every year and profits generally increase too, but you'd think they were dying in a gutter somewhere the way they go on about it.

1237579 2011-10-15 22:54:00 I tend to ignore what people think of movies and make my own opinion. I saw the trailer for Avatar and knew straight away it was going to be my kind of movie. i paid the $15 to go and see it and enjoyed every minute of it, especially the massive gunships that filled the whole cinema screen Gobe1 (6290)
