| 3971 | 2000-02-09 12:31:00 | I have been with Voyager for some couple of years. I use Win 95, Netscape and just of late I installed Opera. But I could not load the Opera site to register. Then after lots of looking and testing I find that there are many sites I cannot get with Opera and Netscape. But at Voyagers insistence I drag out IE3 and presto I can get them. But here is the rub. At work, no firewall, identical software, I can get all these with southern.co.nz Voyager are rather quiet now, and have not replied for 24 hours. Some sites are www.sirc.org www.opera.com www.webfarm.co.nz www.eskimo.com There are many other sites I have tried to load in the course of the last two years of searches and been left with 'Host contacted, waiting for reply'. But nothing happens. I thought they were dead but it is clear now that many of these just would not reply with Voyager / Netscape. Question is, do I change my browser to IE 5.01 or my ISP? Kind Regards Anthony Lealand |
