3998	2000-02-13 08:03:00	I'm just curious why my new modem I bought (the one that came with my system was a software one) only seems to connect a 31200 bits per sec. It's a 56 k modem and my old one connected at faster speeds so I don't think it's the line. Is there maybe something I need to configure in win 98 (my os)? My modem is a 'pragmatic' v.90 brand.
