| 3996 | 2000-02-12 23:57:00 | I have an Excel 97 file with 5 worksheets. The file is corrupted and the backup that I made is also corrupted - when I open it Excel hangs and does not respond - I left it running overnight. All my other Excel files work perfectly. I extracted the data into MS access and cut and pasted it back into a blank Excel template. Does anyone know of any utility that could recover worksheets within a corrupted file.I am assuming that only a small error has stopped the file from opening regards Ian Hutton |
