| 3985 | 2000-02-10 22:51:00 | I am trying to install a PCI Internal 56k V.90 internal modem on a machine running W98. W98 detects the modem and installs it on comm 3. When I try the modem I get error 'port already open' I cannot find any repoeted conflicts or any reference to comm port 3. Device manager only shows comm 1 comm 2. I have tried the modem in another machine running W95 and it works fine any suggestions thanks |
