| 4159 | 2000-03-05 07:13:00 | I am trying to configure ACT2000! to display client information using caller ID. The system is functioning correctly as regards to caller id but having problems to have a screen saver running. When the phone rings it doesn't get rid of the screen saver, though ACT is busy searching the data base with the phone number. Currently I am running a communications program called Rapidcom, which gets rid of the screen saver when the phone rings but it comes back on before the set time which is one minute in my case. The second problem with this set up is that it seems to take too long to appear the ACT screen when the phone rings and I also have disabled the virtual memory to improve things. Also this computer has hard disk activity for some time for no apparent reason when it goes into the screen saver mode even with a blank screen saver and the virtual memory disabled. Any help is much appreciated. Dell XPS D233 Pentium II 233Mhz 128Mb Ram Velocity 128 Graphics card Windows 98SE |
