| 4234 | 2000-03-15 04:25:00 | Try as I might I am not able to change a file extension. Currently(without going into Thumbs+) I can not open a .jpg picture attached to my e email or on my desktop with the standard 'double click'. In 'Folder Options' 'File Types' the Default extension is listed as '.jpgfile' I have no idea of how it got there and now, no way of editing this to read plain '.jpg'. The Help File refers to making a change if necessary in the 'Associated extension' box but following all the listed steps to modify a file type, just does not give me this box to allow me to make a change. Any help here would be appreciated. |
