We have two computers joined by a null modem cable for playing games.Both machines are running windows 98.The host machine has a 600mhz cpu AMD and 128meg ram with a geforce card. The other is a 200mhz cyric with a S3 and voodoo2 card and 96meg ram.When we are playing for around 30 minutes the join computer will time out and default back to the windows desk top.It happens in different software made by different manufactures.What could be wrong? Have we set up something wrong?Need help as it is not much fun playing this way. Thanks Howard |
