| 4212 | 2000-03-11 22:04:00 | I have a Zip Plus 100 Mb drive without the special AutoDetect blue cable. This drive can operate on Parallel or SCSI connections. Can I use an ordinary Zip 25m/25m SCSI cable for the SCSI connection and a parallel 25m/25f cable for the parallel connection without harming the drive? Iomega site 'advises' only to use special auto detect cable. Thanks in advance. |
