| 4196 | 2000-03-09 07:04:00 | Hi I have added a 32 Mb chip to double my Ram. When I rebooted I get a 'Memory test failed' Press F1 to continue, then I get a 'Error HIMEM.SYS unreliable XMS memory at 02F 09018' then 'Himem.sys is missing' Would a BIOS upgrade/flash restore the missing Himem.sys? I have swapped the Ram chips, taken the new Ram out etc, but to no avail. Any suggestions? Regards Philip Green |
