4253	2000-03-17 10:50:00	In rummaging around in my BIOS setup I discovered that the 'IDE HDD Block Mode' was set to 'Disabled', even though the default setting is 'Enabled'. The manual says that this will allow the hard disk controller to use fast block mode to transfer data to and from the HDD. Is enabling this: a) likely to do any harm? or b) likely to do any good? and why would it have been disabled to start with?	Guest (0)
