| 4344 | 2000-03-26 23:24:00 | Since updating my windows operating system from 1st to 2nd edition my computer no longer gives the message 'safe to shut down', when I turn the computer off I can also hear a clunk sound in the hard drive. Note that when the computer is restarted it does not enter safe mode/scan disk. System = pc100 m726 mainboard, savage agp 8mb video, 33mb memory, celeron 366. ? is my computer shutting down properly and why do I no longer receive the safe to turn off message. Thanks stefan |
