4412 2000-04-05 21:47:00 Often when I switch on I get a message'Boot disk failure - Insert system disk & press enter'.I can also get this message if I have had the computer running for a while and I reboot. I insert a bootup disk & try to access C: & get a 'Invalid drive letter' message. In the BIOS the 2 hard drives are not recognised. I have run Ontrack's Hard Disk Advisor, but everything checks out fine, I rebooted after running that program and lost the drives again.System is a Gigabyte BX2000 motherboard, Celeron 400, 64MB ram. This was happening with thw previous motherboard but not so often. Can anyone throw some light as to why this is happening. Guest (0)
