1262752 2012-03-03 00:17:00 Hey Guys

I've got an old Compaq Presario V3500 (from sticker on bottom, but above screen says V3000) running an AMD Turion 64 x2 with Nvidia Graphics.
S/N 2CE8020JKD

My problem is that I've just installed windows 8 on it, and it all works fine, I found the driver for the AMD, I just cant find a driver for the Nvidia. I'm not sure what one it is. I've used the HP site and nvidia but both keep coming up saying I don't meet the minimum system requirements or my OS is not supported.

Any ideas on what I can do? I need to be able to plug into a Projector but it won't let me as it's only using a generic Windows driver. :(

Let me know if you need more info

1262753 2012-03-03 00:21:00 I guess they just don't support Windows 8 yet.

Can you run the driver installation program in a compatibility mode?

Which is often a "catch-all" error message if the OS you're using is not on the approved list, especially if the OS is a just-released beta version that the driver design team haven't written into the OS version number detection routine of the installer yet.
