Some of the stylists just use clippers for gents hair and then thinning scissors, they don't use normal scissors . A relatively minor note but they tend to increase their rates annually which used to be $18 to now of $27 . Is it too much to ask for a decent hairdresser to charge under $35 and who's not a barber? In the suburbs of course . In Wellington . My mother asked a few salons around our area, one said $75 and the other $50 . I cut every 4 weeks, it grows quickly, but mainly because I have more coarse hair and needing thinning scissors . :thanks |

While she has all those gadgets, she can actually cut hair and not just shear you like a sheep . |

I note that male family/friends around my age, seem to get crew cuts, baldies, or wear caps. Probably to hide minimal growth or grey hair cropping up. I use to go to Rodney Waynes near Albert Park in mid 80's. Maybe he's still around. |
