However, they were treated as historic, negating the need for the indefinite sentence. Justice Priestley noted Chadwick's present partner continued to stand by him and that he had notched up 24 previous convictions over the past 39 years, including two for sexual violation. Sorry ... but in my opinion, guys like this should be taken from the dock, walked out the back paddock and shot ... preferably in the crotch with a 12guage and left to bleed out. With austerity measures being implemented by governments around the world, this action would certainly save the gov'ment and taxpayer a sh!tload. In the right circumstances, when proof is irrefutable and/or confession given ... I'm leaning toward capital punishment being reinstated. I know there are cases where innocent people have been executed, however, when there is no doubt, i.e. caught free-handed, forensics, witnesses and confession all prove guilt ... why the hell not? |

While not wanting to minimise that, I'm frankly ticked off at the quantity of offending as well. I'd happily support execution for all serious crims and recidivist drink drivers by the 5th offense. |
