1238339 2011-10-18 22:34:00 Just be careful not to melt the lycra gary67 (56)
1238340 2011-10-18 22:36:00 That did cross my mind Gary - it is likely that thing would generate quite a lot of heat, too close to the seated area for comfort... John H (8)
1238341 2011-10-18 23:57:00 The lycra melting would be the least of my worries!!!

1238342 2011-10-19 00:07:00 Ideal for those cold Mainland winters!!

I wonder how often you have to dismount to stoke the fire and fill the boiler? Might be a bit heavy to push if you run out of wood...

1238343 2011-10-19 00:10:00 It has a set of pedals and a five gear box, so you should be able to stay on the bike and spin the gears if you run out of wood/coal! John H (8)

... and hope for no uphills or headwinds!! That's got to weigh close to 100 kg!

1238345 2011-10-19 00:17:00 Just keep your legs shaved johcar, and she'll be apples! Hmmm, I wonder where the spare wood and coal goes? Does it have a tender like Thomas the Tank Engine? John H (8)
1238346 2011-10-19 01:22:00 Says he used a boiler from a model steam train, I would have made a train/boat or more conventional transport device than I bike If I was lucky enough to get hold of any steam bits :p Thought i'd won some parts of trademe for a few small stationary engine parts, running at $62, checked back later and it had gone to $153!! He'd be better selling the thing haha :D The Error Guy (14052)
1238347 2011-10-19 01:29:00 Judging by that small photo, they are good quality parts as well. John H (8)
