2012-05-09 06:21:00 | I'm also looking at buying a laptop, although a slightly lower specced one, as I'll only be using it for the internet,a few casual games, word processing, and adobe photoshop elements. What sort of specs - particularly the cpu - would I need. Sorry for th hijack I picked up an Asus 5253g for $600 off trademe. Had been used for an hour. Specs: 1.6ghz e-350 (>:( worst bit of the whole laptop) 4gb DDR3 Ram 6470m Dedicated Radeon Graphics Card (512mb, god knows why you would put a 6470 with a e-350 but whatev) 500GB HDD 15.6" Screen Windows 7 Home Prem 64bit DVD Writer I run Illustrator, fireworks and flash on this laptop just fine. I do find that it can't handle high dpi images in fireworks very well (300+). With a bit of tweaking in the graphics department I got it running Just Cause 2 on low/med settings in a wide screen res at around 24fps which imo is totally playable, you could drop the res down for 30+ for what most people consider to be playable.

2012-05-09 07:06:00 | E-350 probably not good enough to run photoshop elements very well. Unfortunately not being able to run photoshop elements is a deal breaker for me. | Nick G (16709) | |

2012-05-15 10:12:00 | So, when I do get it my telecom v9 will, I think, stop being used. Therefore, I'm looking at selling it. What would be the kind of a price I should ask/set? It is in very good condition, and has a screen protector on it. | Nick G (16709) | |
2012-05-15 10:15:00 | People sell them for around $170 on trademe. | icow (15313) | |
2012-05-15 10:24:00 | $170 would be a profit:p. I bought it for $150 on a sale. | Nick G (16709) | |
