| 4508 | 2000-04-17 21:14:00 | I am sick of Dos7 and would like to reinstall DOS6.11 Is there anyway of doing this without partitioning my hard drive? If I install Dos6 on a newly formatted 13gb drive it only recognises 2gb and the rest of the drive is useless. Idealy what I want to do is boot to DOS6 and then if I want to use win98se just type win at the command prompt. If I want to go back to DOS6 I reboot to 'previous operating system'. So is there any way of making Dos realise that drives are now bigger than 2 gb? After all at one time DOS thought drives could not be larger than 500mb. Jack Gruschow. gruschow@internet.co.nz |
