4495 2000-04-16 00:16:00 When we install Encarta 98 everything is fine, until the
installation process gets to 22% then it says 'An error
ocurred while installing a file. This is normally caused
by corrupt disk(s) or Setup files'. This is after we
uninstalled the program to try and reinstall it to hard
drive, because we were frustrated at all the 'disc jockeying we had to do'. We use Win98. Is it because the setup files are only designed to work once?HELP!!

Is the disk scratched?

Try copying the files off the CD into a temp folder on the hard drive and running the install from that.
