| 4501 | 2000-04-16 10:47:00 | I am putting together some 486s for a win95/8 network (poor stdents and all that!). I am having trouble with a digital venturis 466. The machine goes through the post and bios check, sorts out the floppy and HDDs. Sees the mouse and KB. Then it does an intel plug and play thing and then freezes, will not boot any further. I am stuck about what to do next. Can I disable this plug and play thing or am i on the wrong track? Is there a jumper which can reset it? I have no manual and cannot find one on the internet. The machine was working, albeit very slowly when I first put the Mobo in. TIA Nicki |
