| 4556 | 2000-04-26 02:06:00 | Here's one for you! My brother was surfing the net and my computer crashed. He didn't get the whole error message down but it began 'A device file that is specified in the system.INI file is damaged. It may be needed to run windows. You may need to run the setup program again.' Since the crash I've been unable to see certain pictures on the net such as some icons and thumbnails. Only a box with a small red cross appears. I also can't see the picture etc the thumbnail links to. I have reloaded windows, installed the latest video drivers, gone through another ISP, downloaded and installed Navigator and in final desperation, reformatted and reinstalled. The problem is still there. Before I start blubbing like a baby, can someone help me please! |
