Hi, Can anyone enlighten me on why W2000 prof. allocates my 4 PCI cards the same shared IRQ and will not let me change these resources in Device Manager (Tick box greyed out). This is despite all 4 cards having unique IRQs at the BIOS level. I have installed a TV card which hangs the PC when I run the app. I have upgraded the BIOS, it's a PIII Compaq, and have admin privilages in the OS. Checked local policies, no problems. I tried a different slot, same result. I found the registry entries for PnP resources for each device but again wouldn't let me change them. Thanks for any ideas. |
