| 4651 | 2000-05-05 08:57:00 | I am running a Pentium II 366 Mhz, 128 Ram , Windows 95, Outlook Express 5.0, Internet Explorer 5.0 and Windows Messaging for Win 95 ver 4.0. Up until recently I have been able to send faxs without any problem. Recently I have had the following problem. As I go through the fax sending routine I am asked who the fax is to be sent to. I choose a recipient from my fax address book ie C:\ Windows\mailbox.pab which lists names and fax numbers. I then get to the end of the routine but when I try to send the fax I get a message saying there is no match for the phone number. When I take the option to ?show more names? I find that I am shown my e-mail address book. I cannot date the beginning of this problem exactly because I do not send faxs frequently but I think the problem arose after I upgraded IE and Outlook from ver 4.0 to 5.0. I have been over all the option parts of IE and Outlook but cannot find anything which might account for the problem. John Lambie |
