Win 98 SE, Game Controller applet in Control Panel. Had a DSE joystick which uses the Thrustmaster driver. Joystick was faulty so got it replaced. Once back on and went to calibrate it, it says 'Internal Error, Support Files Missing'. This is the same for any joystick that I try to install. I have used Norton's systems checker previously and there has been errors with the the InProcServer area of the registry, which I think is related to the joystick so I think some support file references have been deleted. I have reinstalled win 98 SE but this doesn't seem to fix the problem. Any ideas? |
