| 4744 | 2000-05-15 11:53:00 | Installation of this printer results in my PC running slowly, occasionally freezing altogether. Selection of the printer in a dialogue box can take over a minute, and it takes a long time for printing to start. I've tried the HP on-line support (no responses) and also the NZ HP support (can't seem to help). Printer connected via USB (but same problems occur if connect via parallel), driver file is latest available, PC has 64Mb RAM. Deinstallation of printer removes the problems. Is this likely to be a problem with the printer driver, the printer itself, or the PC memory? |
