| 4846 | 2000-05-24 09:03:00 | i'm running win98 and IE5.01. while browsing,if i right click on a link, and 'open in a new window' the new window always opens in the same position on the screen, as opposed to my previous installation where the new window opened in the position that the last closed IE window had been. is there any way to force the browser to return to its original behavior, or perhaps specify a screen position for the new windows? i should say that i'm not sure if the original version of explorer was 5 or 5.01. this may not sound like much of a burden, but i'm running two monitors, and all the extra clicking, dragging etc. is making my carpal tunnel twinge. thanks. |
