4899	2000-05-30 10:09:00	Every so often one of the computers at our site develops a Word97 fault - when files are opened in Word97 they have a whole heap of junk appended to the bottom of the file. It looks like it could be information about default settings in Word97 possibly. An example of what gets attached is shown below. Normal Normal Default Paragraph Font Default Paragraph Font wegc+\\0274WEGS01\SYS\USERS\R21guest\ADDRESS.DOC wegc+\\0274WEGS01\SYS\USERS\R21guest\ADDRESS.DOC Network Manager+\\0274WEGS01\SYS\USERS\R21guest\ADDRESS.DO C???? Times New Roman Times New Roman etc etc etc I have tried the following steps to remove this problem: - replacing the Normal.dot template file - removing and reinstalling Office97 - overinstalling Windows95 None of these methods fix the problem. The only thing that fixes it is to delete Win95 and do a fresh Win95 installation - which is a big job of course. Got any ideas about this problem?	Guest (0)
