| 4960 | 2000-06-05 04:23:00 | My old 486 (6 years old) won't go - all that happens when you press the start button is the monitor power light comes on. No hard-drive activity, not even any lights on the front of the tower case. Is this dead power supply, cmos battery or what? This happened about a month ago, then later the same day it came back to life again. This time death seems permanent tho. any suggestions greatly welcomed. |
