I'm going to reinstall XP, but cant get into the BIOS to change the bootdisk. I figured out, that you have to press Ins to see the post screen. Then it says to press F2 to get into the BIOS. Or F8 to change the bootdisk. But pressing this by itself doesnt work. How do you get F2?? I pressed F2 by itself, and Fn / F2 together. I still cant get into the BIOS. Or do you press some other key to get F2? |

From memory its F2 at the ASUS splash-screen, not before or after. Its a real fine line between to early and to late. |

I have an ASUS Eee 701 notebook and it uses F2 to go to Bios. It is easy to miss, so start tapping F2 as soon as the machine start its checks. Just keep tapping and it will go to Bios. If it has a splash screen you start pressing immediately it is displayed it should go to Bios. |

Nup not on this. If you press F2 by itself after the ASUS logo appears it loads. Fn / and F2 together dont work either. The only way the screen comes up (saying to press Esc or F2) is if I press Ins after a reboot and hold it down, but F2 still wont work |

Had to plug a wireless adapter in to fix it. So, reinstalling XP on it now |
