| 1263771 | 2012-03-08 02:08:00 | A restore -- NO not if Ubuntu has wiped it out unless you have a backup of the whole OS/Programs on another drive someplace . If not then a reinstall is in order - Two ways -- if it has a recovery partition you can reinstall it from that, Usually by tapping the F11 key on startup OR you may have to get hold of a Vista DVD and use the COA attached to the machine, then install all the drivers from HP's site . Driver page if needed, select your actual model, V6000 is only the base ( . www2 . hp . com/apps/Lookup?h_lang=en&h_cc=ca&cc=ca&h_page=hpcom&lang=en&h_client=S-A-R311-1&h_query=v6000&submit . x=0&submit . y=0&aoid=35252" target="_blank">h20180 . www2 . hp . com) |
