| 1263318 | 2012-03-06 03:02:00 | Firstly bscod : scsiport.sys no new appliances added, so don't know what this is all about!. Not long after this I downloaded an Avatar onto a Genealogy chatroom from a desktop file. Trying to delete it from desktop, up pops Windows Explorer error and needs to shut. Had a few after shocks but everything seems to be connected ok. Thanks for any help. Lurking. |

| 1263326 | 2012-03-07 00:31:00 | Hi Speedy, don't know what the BSOD SCSIPORT.sys copied over resolved !. But: Still have this problem with Windows Explorer error and DrWatson error as well. See attachments for Explorer. Thought this error may have been part of IE so downloaded IE8 but right click to delete problem still remains. And to think, XP has been running so smoothly. Lurks. |

| 1263327 | 2012-03-07 01:27:00 | Is scsiport.sys still crashing tho? If it isnt, your copy may have been corrupt or something. opshel32.dll is crashing it in the 2nd pic. This belongs to Omnipage Pro / Textbridge Pro / or some OCR program. Uninstall it then reinstall it. If it keeps crashing, you'll have to uninstall it again or see if there's an update for it. Or if it gives you an option in the install to add options to the context menu, untick it. Before you install Omnipage Pro again What version of Omnipage Pro is installed? Is it Caere Omnipage Pro 9?? If it is, it looks like this can crash explorer.exe (support.microsoft.com) |
