Western Digital Caviar Green WD20EARS 64MB 2TB $114.75 And if you expand out the links, you will see there is none in stock at that price. By Xmas I doubt anyone will have much, unless they have stocks now.

1239695 2011-10-27 19:08:00 I think pctek's point is that at the time Goodiesguy would have seen them priced at around $100. But you are also correct in the fact that because of the flooding there won't be many left and they will be sold now at a higher price. icow (15313)
1239696 2011-10-27 22:09:00 Yes, i did see one of them advertised at $99, but the prices seemed to have gone up. goodiesguy (15316)
1239697 2011-10-27 22:10:00 Well now you know why the prices went up. Snorkbox (15764)

Just bought a 1TB Seagate Sata Drive for $80 + $8 shipping.

Has only been used for 4 months in an external exclosure, and has 2 years Seagate Warranty.

One way to check, a nifty bit of software I came across the other day, no fiddling about -- CrystalDiskInfo (crystalmark.info) -- run it on the drive, and it will tell you exactly how much time the drive has actually been used -- see attachment, its a little hard to see, but this drive on this PC I'm currently on has had 3416 hours of actual run time.

Or not.

2. The practice of fencing off an area to protect vegetation.

I think Seagate might claim their warranty invalid.
