Even then I think Knighthood/Dame should be reserved to those with a long-standing contribution or services to NZ. There are lower level honours that can be used for Richie McCaw. What do you mean it has already been diluted by the likes of Roger Douglas , Geoffrey Palmer and all the other plonkers that have got it recently. |
