1263738 2012-03-08 00:45:00 Samsung galaxy SII or Samsung galaxy note 5.3" jxer4567 (16665)
1263739 2012-03-08 00:59:00 I would go for this one Samsung galaxy note 5.3 - since it's new and seems to have larger scree than samsung galaxy S2

but if you are after battery life and on budget , go for samsung galaxy S2

1263740 2012-03-08 01:00:00 Depends what you want it for really, what your budget is, if you like a stylus or not, how soon you want Ice Cream Sandwich... Chilling_Silence (9)
1263741 2012-03-08 02:33:00 If you plan on carrying it around in your pocket as a phone the note 5.3 is huge. I have a galaxy S and sometimes even that is a bit big.
Sometimes I wish I'd bought a more basic phone to use as a phone and a tablet for all the other stuff I do on it - which isn't much to be honest.

On the other hand if you plan on using the browser much the bigger the better. After the novelty wore off I stopped browsing on my phone, it's too small and ackward for regular use in my opinion. When there are apps it's a bit different, trademe's new app isn't bad and the westpac Cashtank is kinda useful. Both can be accessed through the browser but the apps are much better.

1263742 2012-03-08 05:25:00 True, but I prefer the feel of my Galaxy Nexus in my hand vs the Galaxy S, even though the Galaxy Nexus is slightly larger. Also, going back now to my wifes Nexus One, it feels *tiny* and I automatically find myself using two hands for the smaller device for some reason?

Definitely give them both a try before making any final decisions of your own :)

Personally I'd go for the S2

1263747 2012-03-08 23:50:00 Galaxy S2 is rumored to get it on the 10th (American time).

Nexus S / Galaxy Nexus already have it ;-)
