I have noticed that there are no booms to prevent the oil from spreading over the water around the ship wreck. They float on the surface of the water keeping the oil in one place so it can be sucked up or burned. |

I have heard it said that the heavy fuel sinks to some degree? I'm not sure that this is correct or not since it was not verified by an expert on the news station I was watching. If the oil does indeed float then there really is no reason for trying to save a buck and do without the booms. |
