I have a 486/dx100 and seem to have trouble downloading pages on Netscape 4.7. I looked back to pcworld of sept. 1998 in a reply to a B Kumer who had a slow problem. I checked thro' the suggestions F1 said and was fine until I chose 'system/device manager/ports' (win95) Ports 1-3 were there but not port 4 which my modem is configured to so I cannot check the port speed. Any ideas anyone??. Plus netscape says 'Document Done' when downloading a page but will not display it until I hit stop and then reload ??. |
