| 5084 | 2000-06-13 03:03:00 | I recently installed the Napster software which worked fine until I tried to restart my computer (an HP Pavilion Pentium 200, 64meg ram). When the desktop loaded after the restart, I couldn't open any of my folders. I uninstalled the software, and then I could open all the folders except 'My Computer'. I went to system information and ran the system file checker, replacing the files that were corrupt. Now when I try to open 'My Computer', I get an illegal operation message, and the 'My Computer' window shuts straight down. Anyone have any ideas how to get things back to normal? Ive posted a query to napster.com, but as yet haven't heard from them. Phil O'Brien Phil O'Brien |
