| 5045 | 2000-06-11 00:40:00 | I recently updated my drivers for my onboard ess solo soundcard on my ibm from ibm's website, ever since the sound has been distorted and scratchy especially at low volume, i've tried to re-install the original drivers but to no effect, windows device manager reports the device working correctly. system, ibm aptiva 2158-267 windows 98 ess solo on board sound 96 M ram sound driver 4.06.00.1126 i also tried ess website's most up to date drivers, but they dont have the joyport support ibm's drivers have ( windows does not detect the port at startup) thanx anyone who can help |
