| 5096 | 2000-06-13 22:47:00 | I have a HP5100c Scanner. I have used it on both of my computers; Ones Win95 and the other Win982nd. I have not had any problems before like this one. The problem is when I try using it, the software called HP Precision scan becomes unstable. Meaning the cursor cannot move and I have to press Ctrl+Alt+Delete keys to close so windows will respond. I also have Norton Utilities monitoring my computer, but strangely when I try accesing the scanner, the program is unstable, and my CPU reading jumps to a massive 100% which didn't do before. I have tried lots of things, reinstalling the software, windows, drivers,etc.. What can I do from here onwards? Can this be a memory problem? |
